The idea came from the outline we were given! In the outline Techmo is described as a “cyberpunk decker”. JG gave us a big Shadowrun book to look at for reference. Calvin and I went through a whole bunch of different designs- at one point he was going to be based on the IT guy played by Matthew Holness in the BBC version of The Office, but JG asked us to make him more genuinely cool.
As for being a beautiful human being… yes.
